61 (D-70) Bryce Canyon (and a return to Post 22)

61 (D-70) Visiting Bryce in the “off-season” is highly recommended and rewarding. Sixty percent of visitors come to Bryce Canyon June through September, but October through May is a fantastic time to enjoy the park.

During our visit in Bryce Canyon, we will have the opportunity to do a short walk (1.5 kilometers): Sunrise Point to Sunset Point. Keep our fingers crossed that there won't be thunderstorms!
You can see it on the map of Bryce Canyon.

Again, a song comes to mind. Do you know the song "Sunrise, Sunset" from the film A Fiddler on the Roof* (1964 Broadway musical; 1971 film)? The parents, Golde and Tevye, watch and think of the past during the wedding of one of their daughters. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9yK0C6s9j8

Another, more modern song called Sunrise, Sunset: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_7uKnqmHYU&feature=related

Do you know which one I prefer? And you?

Jane
* The Fiddler on the Roof: the name is taken from Marc Chagall's painting "The Fiddler" (1912)
